Of course toxins are out of the question, because they will quickly be disbursed into the breathing environment. Duct cleaning has limited application, and this is one of them. After the ducts have been completely sealed to prevent further invasion and air leaks, have the ducts cleaned by a licensed and well-recommended professional. Be sure to tell them the reason for the cleaning, and that you expect successful results.
Make sure you have correctly identified and solved the problem that led to the infestation to begin with. Good luck and God bless you!

You have termites in your ac system? Is your ac system made of wood???? I think they're actually there for the heat and mositure. It all depends on the type of termites. But you'll need a treatment. If it's in your ac, it'll be in your structure. Get a professional to find out what type of termites they are so he can treat it properly.
