I've been offered a course in Letterkenny - Donegal -Ireland. I also have an option of doin 'Interior/Spatial Design' and am waiting to see if I have been accepted for Architecture or Nanotechnology... but hard to choose between the first 2 if I have to, not to put all my eggs in one basket...

I had a friend that was an industrial designer for GM. He basically went in to their factories around the world (really, sometimes 5 different countries in a week) and fired people that were reduntant.

well, it depends on what you prefer to your own set of expertise in the future, on what you really like most into...firstly, choose in which what most do you really like to be more focus with---
then ask a smart advice from a friend or professor whom you know has a great knowledge about this thing... btw, the ff. link shows the significant points about job prospects of the industrial design course...check this out! goodluck--i hope this helps---
