The condition you describe sounds more like Romance or Limerence, but it is possible to Love someone unconditionally and not have this emotion returned.
If the other does give any sign of encouragement and you feel great, but when they ignore you, you feel bad, then the emotion is probably Limerence. This usually fade in a matter of months.
If your emotions do not change with the behavior of the other, then only time will tell if it is Romance or Love. Romance fades with time. Love does not.
