I found out on my birhtday that i was pregnant. The clinic that i went to said that i was about 6 weeks and 5 days, now I am 7 weeks and 5 days but my belly button is staring to pop out. The last period that i got was on 6-18-2006, yes on fathers day! This is my second child, i heard that with the second child you show quicker. Can anybody answer my question????

Always rely on your doctor.

If you are almost 2 month along are already heavily showing, there is the possibility of multiple fetuses.

Yes it is true that with any subsequent pregnancies, you will show quicker.

Tell your dr. that you think you may be carrying twins, and explain to him why, that you are already showing at 2 months.
And that you think you are too large for being not that far along.
A simple ultrasound will either confirm it, or put it to rest.

You may also have too much amniotic fluid early on, an ultrasound will also either confirm or deny this.

Congratulations, and good luck

Yes the second child shows faster and also you will have a easier time delivering it. I wouldnt contest the results of a clinic but if your still unsure go do a blood test from another clinic it will be 100% for sure after that.

You are showing awfully fast. Did you have your sonogram yet? That will probably show you slightly farther along than your missed period indicates. Yes, you can be pregnant and have periods. Yes,second children do make a show earlier. Good luck with the precious baby and God Bless You.

You are 7 weeks and 5 days, today. With my second pregnancy, I started showing sooner, but not THAT much sooner. Chances are it's probably just gas or fluid retention--both of which are early pregnancy symptoms. Congrats on your baby!

The only way to determine exactly how pregnant you are is with an ultrasound. Yes, you do show MUCH sooner with your second and subsequent pregnancies.

talk to your doctor and have an ultrasound, that's really the only way to get an accurate due date and findout how far along you are. i am preg w/my 2nd child and i had an ultrasound thinking i was about 2 months and i couldn;t understand why i was already showing--it was because i am actually 15 weeks. good luck

yes, according to my calculation you are 7 weeks and 5 days... you shouldn't be showing yet. SCHEDULE an appointment with your doctor now!

not unusual to show at a different rate with each child. sometimes you may show more with first than subsequent but more often it seems to show more with each progressive pregnancy. Are you schedualed for an ultrasound to confirm dating?
