Dogs of course!
They're fun to play with if you're active and some are lap dogs!
Cats... well, if your not that active and want to clean there litter box daily, they're perfect for you!!!

I have both 2 dogs and 11 cats, I like that cats can just be at peace while dogs want to be on the go.

Have had cats all my life and currently have 3. Love dogs, too, but I guess I'd say cats. They don't require all the constant attention and/or walking, etc. that dogs do.

My cat Gracie, even through I own both. Because most cats don't listen, she was like a dog trapped in a cats body and she came running when I called her.

I love both cat and dogs...but if I have to choose I'd rather own a dog than a cat.

I love my puppy but, I'm uber allergic to cats. Can't love what you can't have. Any pet rocks! I love my turtle even if I can't snuggle her. I have a small trailer, a small yard with no fence, and a huge black lab. It's a myth that you need lots of space for a dog, you just need lots of love. Cat's are easier because they don't mind if you ignore them and they kick your a** if you don't give them what they want (just ask my sister ;D). Dogs just want love, to chew on things, and to poop (a lot).

a dog is big and a cat is small and they like to lay on your lap and dog like playing with thing i have both i Love them both
