i need some info. for my lecture.would you explain about kinds of families?

A nuclear family is two parents and their children. There are gay families with two males, or two females and their children. There are grandparents raising their grandchildren. There are couples with their children from previous marriages-those are called blended families. Bicultural families would be those who have immigrated from another country and live in the US or the UK now. They would also be families where one parent is from one culture and another from another. The list goes on and on. My favorite is called a uterine family (of course after the word uterus) which consists of a mother and her children.
