AOL and Google store our search criteria on the internet. Do you feel comfortable with this information is stored. And who can access this information?

Yes I do. I'm a college student and it concerns me that anyone who is computer savvy can access information. Sometimes I have to research controversial topics for my classes.

Nope, don't feel safe at all. I was recently browsing around my google account and found my entire search history since March 2005!

I am not comfortable with some of the information they store. Some actually store our personal information, but I guess if it means it will track the pediophiles and the weirdos on the internet, then it must be done.

However, I do get concerned at the hackers and whackers who might be able to retrieve this information. We have to rely on the security of these search engines to prevent this type of data getting into the wrong hands.

I do believe we should track some information online that might track the wrong-doers, but not everything that the innocent surfers do in the privacy of their own home.

everybodys computer history is stored and can be searched if necessary at any time.

It doesn't bother me because I have nothing to hide and I have nothing to steal neither.
