have you ever heard the term history will repeat itself well i believe its happening now. More people are falling for the cause to appease the terrorists. You do know of course that this has happened before... A long time ago there was a mean man named hitler and he demanded that france and britain give him land, Both france and britain knew he would start a war so they appeased him and can you guess what happened next?
He attacked.
I've said it time and again you can't reason with people who wan't to kill you.

A terrorist is someone who uses force and fear to control a population to serve their own private agenda. And that's exactly what our current government has been doing these past few years

Who is appeasing who? The USA , UK and Israel are acting in defiance of the UN. The USA is the strongest world economy at the moment. Everybody else is trying to get Bush and the Republicans to reconsider his invasion plans for the entire Mideast. The USA has said that it is willing to take on the whole world, and has declared itself the only world power. Just who most resembles Hitler. A bunch of country less rag tag fanatics, or the elected dictator of the most military country of his time(Hitler in Nazi Germany 1938 was in charge of the largest most modern army and the largest most modern economy). You should at least know your history before you try to make it into propaganda.

Great point. Also remember during WWII the nation stood together and fought Hitler. If we could get the support from the damnocrats this war on terrorism would have been over a long time ago!

I totally agree with you. I keep hearing the democrats, the party who wants to have talks with Hezbollah and Al-Queda, will probably win in the mid term election this year. That scares me. In conn. They threw out joe lieberman, who had some sense and voted in an appeaser. It scares me. Remember cut and run John Kerry?

Nobody is suggesting appeasing terrorists. Nobody.
But a lot of people are suggesting that if we are going to claim any moral authority to denounce terrorism, then we shouldn't be engaging in it ourselves. We should support an administration who disrespects our own Constitution or ignores our own laws, and we shouldn't be led by a man who takes pride in actions which our own courts and and our own laws declare are war crimes.

we don't want to give in to the terrorists. but the alternative is no fun and requires pain and suffering, so we do the easy thing.
