If they caved after terror attack in their country, and not pulled troops from Iraq, than we see terror attacks around every election. Like in Isreal. Strange how Palestians keep helping right wingers win election

Ah man, that was in March 2004, where have you been?

And you also have to remember that it was the fact that the Government in Spain at the time knew who it was but tried to blame ETA for it. They blatantly lied to the public thinking they could fool them, if they were honest from the start they might have even stayed in power.
There was an election looming within days and they just tried to save their asses. The real bombers got their victory and the spanish voters got what they wanted: the got rid of a government they didn't like and they got their troops out of Iraq. From their point of view it was because they were in Iraq helping the US & UK that the trains were bombed in the first place.

So yeah, I thank them for using democracy as it was meant to be used. People first.
