San Diego is always great (SD Zoo,beaches, Humphreys concerts, Coronado, etc)
San Francisco (great place and only 40 mins from Napa Valley)
Yosemite (a natural wonder)
Monterey (rent a house on the Ocean and go to the famous Aquarium)

You can't really go wrong with California, there are so many cool things to see...Santa Barbara is a beautiful place just to relax and see historic architecture like the Santa Barbara Mission (try the bearby Arts and Letters cafe for a great lunch) and I really like Santa Monica too. It's pricey but the 3rd Street Promenade and the pier (it has a ferris wheel and you can watch surfers from there too) are fun areas to visit and you might get a good deal on a hotel if you shop around. Have a great vacation!

Go to Santa Barbara. It is a very beautiful town with many fun things to do and see. Great food, beaches, weather, gardens, etc. It is one of my favorite places on the planet, and I have been to quite a few places.

laguana beach is beautiful but expensive also someplace like morro bay/los lobos or cambria.... I like morro bay because it is peaceful and beautiful.... the ocean views are stunning and well I felt extremely relaxed by the sea air and the green trees.... good luck.
