Only if you are driving 60 miles an hour. So, if you are trying to figure out the radius in your city, that wouldn't be a very good indicator because most speed limits in cities are 35-45 mph. Try Yahoo! maps instead.

It's only true if you driving at 60 miles per hour. If you are looking for a radius, then you would also have to assume that you are driving in a straight line -- obviously if you were driving on a very winding road, then you might not be one mile away from your starting point.

it is true if your driving like 60 miles an hour but you cant do that in the city so its more like for every 2 minutes you drive its a mile if you have no lights and traffic because the speed limit in the city is max 30 miles per mile.

Yes. If you're driving 60 MPH. Because that would make 60 miles in 60 minutes, that's 1 mile in 1 minute :)

that's actual if you're vacationing at 60 mph Use the formula D=R*T D = distance, prolly your radius R = fee, prolly miles in accordance to hour T = Time, could be similar instruments as your fee, so hours a million mile = fee * a million minute fee = a million mile in accordance to minute 60 minutes in an hour, so a million mile/minute = 60 miles/hour if you're driving slower you'll bypass decrease than a mile a minute, and if swifter, then more effective!

If you're trying to figure out what cities are in a certain radius, measure on the map to get the milage or use an internet map tool to get the distance from one city to the next.

Are you seriously asking this question?
Do you even understand what MILES PER HOUR means?
Depending on how fast you drive (aka MPH) that's how far you will travel in an HOUR.
In which case, if you want to trave ONE mile, you would have to drive 60 MPH.
To dertermine any other distance, it would be a simple proportion. 1 mile/60 mph=x/mph. If you even understand that.
