As a person who has had bi-racial relationships and who has bi-racial chhildren, it is important for me to know that I am not the only one who feels that it's a non-issue. More and more people are learning to look at a person's heart rather than their skin color. I have been disciminated by my so called "peers" for my choices and by my children's fathers family because I am white. Tell me: Do you feel that the hate will ever end? For my children's sake, I hope it does.

It all depends on where you are.
If you are in a big city like NY or LA where the minority is actually people that are only one race, am saying your kids won't even know that there once were issues about them having a white mommy and a black daddy.
But if you are in a small town, somewhere in the south or whatever, you and your kids will get looks and maybe the occasional verbal stupid remark.
However, don't you worry, the people you want to associate with are the ones that do look at character rather than skin color and I have found that it is easier to find them now than before. Hopefully, when your children grow up, those people will be even easier to find.
Of couse, bigots and racists will always be there too but there will come a time when THEY are the ones that are the anomaly .

Good luck!

It's not as bad, but it's still out there. I do feel sorry for the children of bi-racial unions. I think they have a tougher time in school. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so.

I sure hope it has changed!! But there are going to be idiots and morons no matter what I'm afraid. From your question you seem like a very well adjusted person and that will help your children see these people for who they really are without damaging their egos and self esteem. The apple wont fall far from the tree hon!!! and that's a GOOD thing! :)

that's a distinctive yet exciting question. we do and we don’t. we omit particularly some the extra suited programming they did such by using fact the hot international Order perspective interior the start or the phenomenal bouts featuring Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit. regardless of if, we don't omit the disaster of the employer that we observed interior the later years. WCW ran its direction and finally died by using fact it replaced into poorly controlled. If the employer have been ran extra suited we ought to ok be observing WCW programming now as a replace of WWE.

Things have gotten much better then 10 years ago. But there still are narrow-minded people out there who really don't care. Unfortunately there are still people who treat others like crap just because of their skin color!
