You could always believe what people say-that we are creating global warming and that's why there are so many hurricanes and freak weather. Or you could simply say that weather reporting is being followed much more closely because of things like Hurricane Katrina, so weather issues that would have never been of concern before are now at the front of the news.

The greenhouse effect, first discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824, and first investigated quantitatively by Svante Arrhenius in 1896, is the process in which the absorption of infrared radiation by an atmosphere warms a planet. Mankind has only been recording weather stats for about 200yrs that is a small sample. With time weather changes and we may have no recorded previous experience to work with. If you think the weather is wacky now, check this out!

I think the weather has always been crazy, just people are paying attention more. Some years are worse than others.

More technically it is referred to as climate change. The predictions are for more "crazy" weather. Wetter winter in the Northern Hemisphere, Hotter summers, basically more extremes.

It's because of climatic dramatic change. First off, there is heavy rainstorm at the beginning of the earth age, to earthquake, tsunami, ice age and acid rain. Now we heading towards global warming. Good question.

it's all because people don't recycle and use toooooo much energy like n my room and my brother's room there's no electricty and phat causes global warming.phat's why n a few years it's gonna b the end of the world.the sun keeps on getting closer to earth.
