I was absent from school and because of that my friend is angry with me. He even said that I was selfish and that he regretted becoming friends with me. The worst part was that he refused to let me know wheather there was homework today. So what so I do to regain my friendship with him?

Why would he hate you? Were you two supposed to do a project of some sort together on that day? If you were ill or just didn't want to come to school and it didn't affect him in anyway then I'd say find a new friend. If you stayed home just because you felt like it and you two were supposed to do something that day then yeah that is a little selfish.. Anyway, I'm sure he'll get over it.

If he wants to act like that, why do you want to be his friend? That is not how a friend acts. Why did it matter so much to him that you missed school? It sounds like this guy has major issues. He is the one that is being selfish. I suggest you find new and better friends. His loss you know.
