Here are some suggestions
1. Quesidallas with chicken and cheese. (my daughters favorite)
2. Whole grain waffles
3. Frozen pasta - tortellini with cheese, ravioli, etc. In the frozen foods section. Just microwave small portion for 30 seconds or so
4. Pancakes
5. Yogurt (Yo Baby is really good). Remember not to get nonfat babies need fat for neurological development.
6. Spaghetti - cut up
7. Beef tips and gravy with rice
8. Tacos - soft taco, unseasoned hamburger meat, cheese and tomato chopped up
9. Fried Rice
No hot dogs - they have not nutritional value.
I feed Haley (11 months) anything we eat for dinner as long as it is not too spicy. The more grown up the food the more she seems to like it. In the past I have had such a limited menu cause I thought she was not old enough for other foods. The more I expand the more I realize that she can handle the foods.

From the sound of things you have everything under control. He seems to be eating the right things so why ruin it. If you do the cereal thing in the morning, stay away from sugar cereals, stick with Cherios things like that. My grandkids love cherios.

Why do you feel the need to give him more variety? As long as you are giving him a balanced diet, it really doesn't matter if he wants to eat the same things every day. If you are just interested in introducing him to new things, try one new thing he hasn't had before. Too much change and he may refuse to eat anything. Toddlers are fun like that.

How about some Jello with fruit in it? Make some fried rice and some grilled veggies!
Whole wheat mac and cheese?
Pizza with pesto sauce instead of red sauce.
Shirmp Cocktail
Cream of wheat with strawberries.
7 layer salad
Fried Chicken.
Dang I am getting hungry now.

Finger foods and choices choices choices! It sounds like you are doing a great job of giving him a variety. Sometimes a variety at this age is not as important as just getting them to eat. Good Luck

on your paying for checklist, contain each and every thing you purely positioned right here. Then purchase issues you like. Slowly introduce meals into his nutrition regimen one after the different. this provides him time to get used to it, and facilitates you to maintain an eye fixed on him for nutrition hypersensitive reactions. you're off to an spectacular commence with what you have have been given there. provide your self a pat on the back. Your paying for checklist so far: eggs fruit - ideally sparkling in case you are able to vegetables - back sparkling hen - breast meat is greater perfect than dark crimson meat warm canines ham turkey noodles & canned pasta - attempt to stay far flung from those on a primary foundation. too plenty sugar and salt. seem into primary boxed pasta and sauce. They make total grain pasta, those are ultimate. issues to think of roughly including: Milk - total no longer 2% or skim Juice - one hundred% no longer hi-C Bread - attempt the character's ultimate sort, much less additatives Potatoes, white and candy - mine enjoyed them mashed with slightly of butter- they nonetheless do Cereal, like Cherrios, no longer Fruitty Pebbles Rice Waffles or pancake combination with a sprint butter, syrup on condition which you're feeling as much as the mess Yogurt Cheese Oatmeal - you will probable have greater success with the fruit style. For particular treats, attempt puddings extremely than ice cream, muffins or pies. They make toddler cookies and crackers. seem interior the toddler nutrition isle, or in basic terms purchase the less suggary ones. Ritz and club are good options. Butter and shortbread cookies over chocolate chip. good success!

It sounds like you have quite a variety there already, pretty much the dame as I feed my girls. the only thing I saw lacking was dairy foods, cheese, milk, yogurt (they LOVE yogurt!), stuff like that unless he is allergic to dairy foods. What about peanut butter and nuts? Well, good luck, but as I said, I think you've got it covered pretty well.

Madam ,I raised my kids just giving them the same food that we had for our breakfast, our lunch and our supper ,,they always ate good and when they were still babies and young we started with the special foods but once they got ahold of good home cooking... the other stuff was not so good to them anymore.

try not to get him used to eating unhealthy junk foods like sweet cereals (those are high in sugar). as much as possible, it would be nice if he gets used to eating vegetables... and yes, they can be trained. of course at first they wouldn't eat it, but if you offered him "better" foods (read: junk foods) then he would think that there are other options and would continuously look for those versus if you started giving him vegetables and he sees that there are no junkfoods in the house, then he wouldn't look for it -- and he doesn't have a choice but to eat whatever's given to him. don't worry, they're not gonna starve themselves to death -- i guarantee you they WILL get hungry and they will eat that whether they like it or not.
my aunties teach their children to eat veggies and not to eat junk food. they trained them to drink milk or water only, and never juice (because it's too sweet) -- and they got used to it, they don't even look for it.
