How would I go about starting my own TV channel, like MTV, ESPN, Cartoon Network, etc.? If I need lots of money which I don't have, could I just talk to someone to pitch my idea for a channel?

You probably need to contact the Federal Communications Commisions to apply for a license. From there they will tell you what to do. Good luck!!

Maybe you could try researching some acting websites. Or directing. Or channels that are looking for a good pitch. If you have an idea, it might be best to get yourself organized, and then have the whole thing planned out so you can be ready for an offer. Good Luck : )

I recommend that you start by creating and broadcasting a show on your local public access television channel. That would give you great experience with programming that could potentially lead to bigger and better things, maybe even your own channel.

Easy. Create some Podcasts and get them uploaded for the world to see.
