My family and I are thinking about selling our house, buying land and living in a yurt. Does anyone know anyone who has lived in one? Can 6 people live comfortably in a yurt/yurts?

Before you jump in head first, why don't you and your family try camping in a tent for a month or two. You are likely to find that the lack of conveniences will sour everyone on the idea of living permanently in a yurt.

I have slept in a yurt...and wouldn't want to do it for any extended period of time.
