As you enter the later stages of your pregnancy, you might begin to experience some aches and pains. Most of the time, these discomforts are expected physical responses to the increasing weight and nutritional demands of the baby or hormonal fluctuations. However, you should always inform your doctor about any changes or discomforts you experience during any stage of your pregnancy just to be safe.
Four Daily Dos
Start with these four important steps that will help insure a healthy, comfortable pregnancy.
1. Walk at least 15 to 20 minutes a day in a cool, shaded (or indoor) area.
2. Drink eight to ten glasses of water, juice, milk, and other liquids without caffeine, carbonation, or artificial coloring.
3. Rest on your side for at least an hour in the morning and evening.
4. Eat five or six small meals throughout the day.
I hope this helps you! I would think it is normal, just because your body is adjusting, but a check up with the doctor will never hurt.. and congrats with your baby!!

Definitely ask your doctor about the pains you are having, it's always good to keep your doctor informed of any and all concerns you have. Although, occasional pains while pregnant are pretty normal. Hormones are acting on your entire body to ready it for the duration of pregnancy and birth. While pregnant, ligaments loosen up in order to allow for some spreading in your pelvis so you can deliver the baby. But the hormones don't always just act on the pelvis. This can lead to ligaments loosening and stretching in other areas too, sometimes causing some pain.

I have been pregnant three times and did not have those symptoms. You definitely should call the doctor, let them know whats going on and take their advice. Since you are going in for an appointment next week the doctors office may say to wait. but you should not endure any additional stress. So if going in early to discuss the pains makes you relax, then I think you should.
