I think it's bad for you... especially diet soda because it has the aspartame in it. Sit down and talk with your husband about how important your health is. Ten years down the road he will still be addicted to it and his metabolism will be different so he will gain more and more weight. As far as conceiving goes... I think the more your body is cleansed the better off you are to conceive a healthy baby. When you are prego, eat and drink healthy!!!

caffeine is not good for your health at least not large amounts of it. i don't think it will hurt you when you are trying to conceive a baby, but when you do become pregnant, i highly recommend you to stay away from the caffeine. because it can cause your baby to be hyper or caulaky, in which i spelled wrong sorry. but you will have one of those babys whom like to cry all night long etc... caffeine definitely not recommended. your doctor will tell you the same thing.

Caffeine has long been suspect of causing mal-formations in the fetus, and that it may reduce fertility rates.
These reports have proved controversial. What is known is that caffeine does causes malformations in rats, when ingested at rates comparable to 70 cups a day for humans. Many other species respond equally to such large amounts of caffeine.
Data is scant, as experimentation on humans is not feasible. In any case moderation in caffeine ingestion seems to be a prudent course for pregnant women. Recent references are Pastore and Savitz, Case-control study of caffeinated beverages and preterm delivery. American Journal of Epidemiology, Jan 1995.
A recent study found a weak link between Sudden-Infant-Death-Syndrome (SIDS) and caffeine consumption by the mother, which reinforces the recommendation for moderation -possibly even abstinence- above.
In men, it has been shown that caffeine reduces rates of sperm motility which may account for some findings of reduced fertility.
--------------------------------
The list below indicates the amount of caffeine (in mg) in a standard sized (12 oz) can of soda:
Afri-Cola - 100.0
Jolt - 71.2
Sugar-Free Mr. Pibb - 58.8
Mountain Dew (US) - 55.0
Mountain Dew (Candad) - 0.0
Diet Mountain Dew - 55.0
Kick citrus - 54
Mello Yellow - 52.8
Surge - 51.0
Tab - 46.8
Battery energy drink - 46.7
Coca-Cola - 45.6
Diet Cola - 45.6
Shasta Cola - 44.4
Shasta Cherry Cola - 44.4

Mr. Pibb - 40.8
OK Soda - 40.5
Dr. Pepper - 39.6

RC Cola - 36.0
Diet RC - 36.0
Diet Rite - 36.0
Canada Dry Cola - 30.0
Canada Dry Diet Cola - 1.2
7 Up - 0.0
By comparison the same amount of tea would contain 70 to 100 mg of caffeine and coffee would contain 100 to 200 mg of caffeine.
Water, carbinated water, flavored water and fruit juices are good alternatives to soda.

I used to drink nutrition regimen coke each and all of the time. i think of I have been given hooked on it. ultimately i desperate that i substitute into greater perfect off warding off man made sweeteners as much as a hazard. it extremely is annoying to confirm no count if information comments approximately analyze of risky outcomes of nutrition ingredients, or maybe particular instructions of meals have any benefit or no longer. the subject is that the information media are actually not accessible to coach us.... they're accessible to make money. the way they make money is by applying grabbing the biggest objective audience they are able to. Scare techniques are very effectual. What do they care if something that has no longer been shown scientifically gets banned because of the fact of their scare techniques? They have been given their advertising costs bigger! there's an prolonged checklist of issues that have been removed from the marked or companies that have been bankrupted because of the greed of information media and additionally trial legal professionals. Silicone Breast implants, Fen-Phen, to call a pair have in no way been shown by applying genuine analyze to have any risky area outcomes. extremely, media hype, scare techniques, 0.5-truths and anectdotal memories have been foolishly used to sway juries and the first public opinion. no count if aspartame is risky or no longer... I have not got any clue. My advice is to do your ultimate to look on the uncooked archives upon which the scaremonger sort reporting substitute into derived. Make up your own counseled suggestions. this could be a substantial deal to me. As Fox Mulder says, "believe no one!" different than for Scully...... and purely then because of the fact she's warm. ultimate of success..... the certainty is presented.

I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt the sperm are soda addicts just because your husband drinks them. It might cause their tails to wiggle a little faster though.
