Now that viruses can be synthesized is there danger?

Of creating new and even more deadly bioweapons which can be made very easily in short time ??

There is a danger of this yes, I don't know how easy it is. I would think to use a weapon of terrorism you would need to create one that is stable and can survive in unfriendly environments for a long period of time, is easily transmissible from person to perosn and has a relatively high mortality rate. I don't think that this is within the scope of the average Joe.

worry not - there are plenty of nasties around us that any fool could use as a weapon if he was daft enough. Its not that easy to do, and any state willing to attempt it must realise that releasing a biohazard will not just be localized at the target, but could easily mutuate rendering their immunised bodies vulnerable.
