Ccover up - which was about a government agent acting as a 'sexy' male model for an agency, the lead actor was first played by Jon Erik Hexum who went out with Emma Sams (dynasty) he allegedly died in a tragic accident after pretending to shoot himself in the head with a squib loaded handgun - the lead role was then given to Tony Hamilton an Aussie actor and the series only lasted a few more episodes, as the suspicious circumstances surrounding Hexum's death were fuelled by rumours that Sams had broken up with him only days before. I remember this series really well as it was quite good, bit cheesy, but hey it was the 80's and we were all cheesy then - i remember that it did quite a bit of damage to Emma Sams career as well and she still gets asked about it

There was a show called "The Greatest American Hero," for which the theme song was "A Wing and A Prayer." "Holding Out for a Hero" is from the film "Footloose."

It's originally from Mad Max...Thunderdome, I think. I do seem to vaguely recall it being linked to a TV show, but all I keep coming up with is Mad Max.

Seems I've been corrected by Footloose. Are ya'll sure it wasn't Mad Max? It was not the Greatest American Hero though. That was William Kat's goofy superman-type show, and the song to it was "Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just me." I'm not sure eho sang that one, but it sounded like BJ Thomas. He did the song for Family Ties too. Or was it the Kirk Cameron and Alan Thicke family?

Anyway, thanks for the flashback though!

Not sure about the TV show, but I know it was in the movie Footloose. I think it was played when "Ren" was doing his gymnastics in the old broke down warehouse near the railroad tracks.
