So I fart a lot and openly in front of my girlfriend. Sometimes it stinks, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes if I'm in the bedroom for an extended period of time, I will fart my natural amount of times (I'd say I average 4 or 5 farts in front of her daily) and you can notice the difference in air quality inside and outside the bedroom. When it stinks she says I'm disgusting, in a joking yet serious way. When she let's one of her own out, which is seldom but nonetheless toxic, I laugh. My question is do other couples openly fart in front of each other? Does your wife/girlfriend get upset when you fart or does it depend on whether it smells? Should I stop farting in front of her and hold it in until later? It's so much more satisfying to let it out when you need to though.

I don't force farts out when she is around. We are in the bedroom together a lot and I let them out when they come.

Firstly, it's good to know that your girlfriend finds some humor in your farts and is comfortable enough with you to let some out herself. Secondly, please do not hold your farts in. Save that for public. When in the privacy of your own home, one should be able to relax. With relaxation, the farts will come easily, thus releasing the tension of the day. Ever been really nervous? Nervousness can cause the tummy to produce extra gas. Keeping that gas in can make you not feel too great. It's good to fart and if you can find a significant other who loves you - fart or no fart - hang on to her. To answer your question... anyone who is comfortable enough and has someone accepting enough should not worry about farting in each other's company, and it is quite normal.

You should just fart whenever you need to, that is perfectly normal. I do think that normal social rules apply though, like don't fart at the dinner table, don't fart when you are making out or trying to bust a move...etc.... Don't embarass her by farting in public places etc...
If you aren't sure, then just discuss it, if she has a major problem with it, then you might want to change your habits. If it is just a normal thing, then I don't think it is any big deal.

ever heard of beano????????? I don't know about anyone else but I really don't want to smell my fiances digested breakfast,lunch, and dinner. A couple of farts here and there is normal but it seems to me that you purposely fart around her and after a while it gets old, and gross. And to embarass her if front of her friends is a whole different story. Sounds like you need some attention whether its good or bad. Next time you feel the urge just go outside and blow your azz kisses in the wind. Remember... bum burps are never exceptable around company. lol

it is normal. farting is a natural thing you can't help it. if you got to let it out go to the bathroom or get up and pretend you are doing something away from her. don't hold it in. but if you are are getting worried about it then hold it in.

I've alway's said , THeres more room out than there is in .! , but yes it's normal , everyone fart's . I fart all the time in front of my hubby , we laugh our ***'s off lol !

Honestly, I say let it rip. It's a rare thing to be that comfortable around someone. You're lucky. It's really not a bad thing... but it also depends on the person you're with.

yeah u guess dis is very much normal and yeah but its okey in front of ur wife but when u r out wid other people den its not good cuz den u will make ur own joke and u will becum an laughing stock for every 1 so its better in front of ur wife cuz i guess even she does in front of u so its okeyyy

It's funny at first but can get a bit boring after a while, try something new fart in bed then shove the wifes head under the blanket. This will add a little bit of variety to the daily farts.

I try not to myself, but she on the other hand has no problems doing that in front of anyone!
