Ok, so what is up with the world today. We have little 1-13 year olds dressing like hookers and having sex. Does anyone else think that it is ridiculous? I mean I'm 15 and I've never had sex or oral sex because I believe that you should wait until you are mature enough to handle sex( I am waiting til I am married) Yes, I am saying that 11-13 year olds are not mature enough to handle sex, I mean they are not mature at all. Really, WTF is wrong with the world?

I didn't have sex until I was 17 and it was with my bf then (now husband). I made sure I was mature enough to handle it though. I mean the other day I went to my aunt house and my 13 yr old cousin was talking about sex and stuff with her bf. She is not mature enough for anything right now. I don't think any 11-13 yr old are. At least wait until you are old enough to know what it means to have sex and are able to deal with it if you get pregnant, or get someone pregnant.

It's not the world today.... back in 1970, there were 7th grade girls who slept with everybody on the foot ball team and then wondered why they didnt talk to them at school, but would call them that night to come over. It's not some new craze. 11 - 13 year olds have been having sex since the beginning of time. It's called crazy horomones and not so good parents. I had good parents and I was not a ho, but I did have sex at 14 (I was with the guy for 2 years though so don't give me any crap).

You have to think about it this way, what do they see every where they go, everything they watch involves sex. So our new teen and pre-teen culture has adopted to it. Is it right? No. But the simple fact is that most parents are to lazy to grab ahold of their child and DO SOME ACTAUL PARENTING! Most parents just give up at about the age of 10 or 11 because they are lazy, and then they now reallize that they were not prepared to bring little Suesy into the world. they are misarable, so they just dont care. That is what is wrong with the world. Take care of your kids, and if they dont do what you say, spank them. It is not beating, it is disaplin. Besides, once in every childs life time they should recieve a good swift beating, keeps them in line.

condoms are a lot cheaper than babies. if you have sex around 11-13. you're getting attention but in the wrong way. i think dressing like a hooker won't get you anywhere in life maybe in a coffin becuase you died from STD's or of HIV. its the parents becuase they have the big affect on the kids minds too. plus its tv and peer pressure. yeah the world has been getting to ahead. kids that are 11-13 think they are 20. its jsut not right.

I agree with you. 11-13 is way too young to handle all the baggage that comes with sex. Yes, their bodies are ready, but their minds aren't. I think it also leads up to meaningless sex as they get older because they've had it so much that it isn't special anymore. Sex shouldn't be with every person you come into contact with. Nor should it be a way to get the opposite sex to like you. It should be with someone you care about, if not love.
With all the teen pregnancy, STD's, and AIDS, you'd think parents would teach their children not to indulge at that age.

I TOTALLY agree!! What is with all the so called "13 year olds" on here..asking if sex is ok for them?? They know it isn't!! They are probably just wanting to get a response from people or they are bored. It really makes me angry though. Parenting skills are dropping, and fewer parents are actually teaching their kids about the dangers of sex at a young age. I mean, really, its their faults, not the kids. If the kid was never taught, how are they supposed to know?

Sex at young age does expose one to physical and psychological harms. Physically, because a woman's body is not mature enough to handle sex at 13, having sex exposes them variety of health risk that would later on have very negative impacts on their women's health that including but not limited to PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder - the most common cause of Infertility), cervical and uterine cancer. Psychologically, overexposure to sex may pose unnecessary stressful situations that would affect other aspects of life, such as shcools, and etc. If this individual is looking for sex, there might be other reasons such as peer pressure or low self-esteem and looking for acceptance or sexual abuse and etc.

i couldnt agree wth u morei mean kids that young aren't ready to have sex that young. And they aren't emotionally ready cause if they just find some guy then have sex with them then that guy will tell all of his friends and then soon enough everyone will know. That is why both people having the sex need to old enough and mature

Look at society today, alot of the music on the radio is pornographic, look how celberties dress they may as well be naked, music videos you have roll models like pussycat dolls, britney spears,ect girls want to dress and look like that. What about toys? come on we have had pregnant barbies, the Bratz forget about them they look like a buch of strippers and prostutes and they should be taking off the market that isint what little girls should be playing with.. Our children and teenagers are exposed to more stuff that is sex related then my generation of children were, The more sex is promoted and children see this its just going to get worse and worse. I moniter what my kids watch on TV (which I dont let them watch it a whole lot) and I listen to stuff on the radio before I let them listen..Its society sweetie its hurting our youth!!!
