Don't know any girls that say "girls can't play football", only guys. It's a macho thing for them! I learned by playing Madden 98, then I brought it to the field with others. That was then and a lot has changed. Now...I personally, wouldn't want to break a nail by playing rough! Guys don't know their own strength sometimes (rough-housing girls). But if there is a monetary prize, just let me clip my nails, give me some protective padding, and tell me... WHERE DO I SIGN UP?

I think that girl and guys should have the choice to play which sport or activity they choose. And to the guys who say guys aren't strong, I do martial arts and I have taken down a guy who plays football thank you every much.
Oh and I like to play but I wouldn't try out for a school team or anything like that because I am going to be a cheeleader and it's kinda hard to do both. LOL

I love to play football!!!! When my brothers use to play at the park I will join in and so will my friends(girls)... So it is not an only boy sport.. But it dose hurt when U get tackled by a 100-300 pound man. It happen to me. My brothers use to tell me that but I prove them WRONG!!!

Maybe because they usually think they're superior than women and they're stronger. (But a muscular woman does look kind of ugly)...But maybe some girls might want to play because they want to prove some boys wrong, or they just lik to run a lot, or to get closer to their boyfriends on the field, but I'm not like that. And I don't ant to join either.

Dont know why they say that, cause I am a kick butt football player and always have been. was even the football director at an athletic club. some females are just as capable of contact sports as males.

ye ai heared that before. mayb they say that cuz women are not as strong as man and we all know theres a lot of kicking in football. but over here woman play football too. lol wen u hear a guy sayin that tell him men cant cook or men cant clean. ull b square ;)

just because we are women and we might be smaller and weaker doesnt mean girls don't like football. i'm sure many very much enjoy playing against girls or guys but if a girl is playing against 250-300lb men and she isn't very big herself then maybe she could get hurt. men just like to think they are so much stronger and thats why they say that but it isn't always necissarily true.

some say it because they think it is a man's sport and some say it because they know boys play rough and a girl may get hurt.i love to play because i wrestled before and i feel as though a girl can do anything a boy can do as long as she has the determination to do it.
