If your friends or relations give you a present should you open it there and then ,or put it aside until after. I hate having to open presents in front of people

ask if they mind if you open it later. i'm with you on this one. i think it's tacky to open presents in front of a lot of people (at a birthday party, for example)

If it is for Christmas or your birthday then you should open it that day and not before but if it is just a gift for the sake of giving a gift you should open it there and then smile and say thank you very much its really kind of you. I have always found the words you shouldn't have a bit offencive/ungrateful I know its not meant that way but it comes across as that so don't say it. i know what you mean about opening them in from of them but that is manners. I do not like people opening gifts in front of me so i do not give them to somebodies face but my brother is as excites as if it were a gift for him when he sees somebody opening a gift he has given.

of course you should open it in front of them. people who take the time and trouble to buy you a present love to see you open it. they want to think they have got something for you that you really want or like. and by the way if you don't like it remember you should always accept with grace and say thank you.

i hate it when people open presents i have given them in front of me, but a lot of people expect you to open it in front of them. My nan always says she likes to see the look on our faces when we open her presents. But im with you i feel uncomfortable opening them in front of people.

open it in front of them, and they will know you appreciate it. if you don't want to open it, get a small child to help, they love to open presents.

i love taking off provides extra effective using present. yet i love giving others presents too and that i do not ideas wrapping them. i think of their ought to correctly be a extra effective thanks to do both. Wrapping must be difficult. some presents are oddly formed. and there is a lot of garbage after wrapping and taking off both. they are very similar issues. i ought to particularly open than wrap and the interesting area about wrapping is watching the guy open it. You should open it, i mean it's yours and your excited but make sure not to start ripping the present up and trying to find what it is, it makes you seem like a spoiled brat.

you don't have to be nerves or anything just have fun that's the main thing! so you can just open it when you get no one really cares about you opening presents just be happy
