You cannot create a folder named "CON" in any windows operating system

CON is short for console. You can't have a file or folder with the same name as a device, like the console, your printer, or a port like a parallel or serial port.

Other reserved names include:

AUX
PRN
LPT1
COM1
etc.

If you want to make a folder on your desk top just right click on the mouse and up comes a list of things to do then click on new folder and then change the name.

You cannot do that because Windows has reserved 'con' as a keyword for a device name.

Its not possible.Have tried it.But am not able to create a folder named "con".

Thats a reserved word 4 CONSOLE.
