It doesnt. Love is supposed to come naturallyand when it doesnt there is some underlying problem why it isnt. It may be because there may not be equal love coming from both sides in a relationship, meaning that someone may not be as quite in love as the other which will cause friction. People enter a relationship expecting the Cinderella-live happily ever after syndrome, and when things dont go as well as expected, those expectations start falling apart, reality sets in and the happiness starts sailing away. This is the point in a relationship where true love overtakes the Cinderella love and the two of you reall begin to find out if youre truly meant to be with each other and if your love together can truly overcome the unforeseen and conquer all. Relationships are like cars, just as long as the car runs on all 8 cylinders and is in tune, it runs just fine, but 1 bad spark plug or tank of bad gas and things no longer run smoothly. Hope you understand and good luck

love is complex. this is how i see it. and if you are serious about love and your companion is as well. it will take work every relationship does. some people learn how to love by trial and error. the important thing is they learn and don't make the same mistakes again. I feel that's why it's important to date and get to know who your falling in love with. we all want the feeling back in return, hope that made since to you. love is worth it ! don't give up. It is better to have loved than to never have loved at all.. that was a quote, I had heard, but i don't know who it was that said it. good luck.

Because people are messy and do selfish and stupid and hurtful things. They don't have everything figured out, and when they get in trouble, you're there for the ride. I love my husband and that just makes it hurt so much worse to see him upset or depressed, and it really feels like betrayal when he (unwittingly) hurts my feelings or acts rude or selfish somehow. But if that's the price of having the times when everything is wonderful and I'm head over heels, I'll take it.

Cause if it wasn't difficult.. it wouldn't be worth it.

Anything worth having must be earned and unfortunately sometimes it's earned the hard way.

so we can all learn from our mistakes and hopefully it will make us better people in the long run. love and marriage and everything with our spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc. isnt easy, but they make us appreciate each other more. if they dont make you feel that way, then it probably wasnt meant to be.

i hope this helps in some way!!

It's not...if it is difficult, it isn't "love".

Because we are trying to cultivate it with men who are so damn simple and selfish that it drives me insane.
