Told an elderly stranger walking past me in a store that her dress looked very pretty on her. If it hits me that someone looks especially nice, no matter what age, sex, size, or shape --- why not say so? I'm a middle-aged female, so I don't have to worry about it being taken the wrong way. There aren't enough honest compliments in the world!

I ate at a salad bar that had one of those, "how good was your experience here" survey on a card.
I complained that the chicken noodle soup had way too much salt in it.

Compliments. I just try to compliment people by smiling at them when I talk to them. A smile is like a compliment to me because when someone smiles at me, I feel as if they are telling me they feel good when they look at me.
Can't be a better compliment than that.

I told a woman that I hated to state the obvious but, she looked very nice last night, she was in a black fancy dress, with unbelievable shoes. I knew she had a boyfriend but I wanted to tell her anyway. SHe kissed me on the cheek and said thank you. I was in heaven, yep heaven.

My youngest daughter was just here with her brand new daughter. I'm in awe how well she's taken to Motherhood. I told her what a wonderful mom she is, and I truly mean that with my heart.

i just told my 2 year old she as a good girl as she just went potty all by herself -never done it without help or being asked and not long been trying to potty train her either
few minutes before that it was to my mum -i called her a skinny cow!
