Anything ok'd by the prescribing MD and the pharmacist who dispenses it should be safe IF you notify them you are breastfeeding.

However, if you are going to breastfeed and take medication for any significant amount of time (or plan to with a future child as well) it's worth the $30 investment to buy this book, it's the gold standard and MDs and pharmacists use it themselves to check if things are ok.

All antibiotics that are not secreted into the breast milk are safe.

I know you have to avoid tetracyclin or anything related to it - it destroys the enamel on teeth that are still developing - even the 2nd teeth.
