When I was 10 I thought old was 30. When I was 30 I thought old was 50. Now that I'm 49 I think old is 80. I'm starting to wonder if there is any such thing as old. I don't feel much different now than when I was 30 but the person in the mirror looks quite a bit different.

Age is a state of mind. You can be "young" at 86 if you feel young and your outlook on life is fresh and youthful and optimistic. And you can be "old" at 30 if you feel and act like you're old and you have an "old" jaded view of life (I know a few "old" 30 year olds and they are depressing).
I have great respect for people who go sky diving, rock climbing etc in their 70s. Why the hell not?? You are as young as you feel! I also know 30 somethings who think you have to sit in with a cup of cocoa and a good book every night and just complain all the time. How depressing. They are the "old" ones.

As i have grown older, its hard to imagine the people that are younger than me, growing of age too. I always remember them as a small young lad or girl. and then get amazed to see them in their adulthood or turning 16. I'm only 24 myself, and i thought that my 30's would an age to consider old. But alot of people mistake me a lot younger and are surprized of how old i really am. So, when i'm 40. As old i am. I would like to hope i still got it in me to look youthful and young.

20 years older than what you are.
I am 56 and everything still works. I am in good health, have my own hair and teeth, and could probably outrun you.
I always thought 40 was old, but I was climbing ladders and painting houses at 40.
My boyfriend's mother is 88 and SHE is OLD! She is on morphine for pain, and can barely walk or eat. She gets her hair done every week and looks like a rich, well-dressed skeleton.

Non! I'm a male person of 56, but I still feel like I'm 36 or so! My late father was at my present age already a old man of 60-years!
You are yust as young as you feel! For God sake, what's a number? Don't be a number! Be a human being!

You can act old at age 18 if you want or act young at 80.
