Only when you fought for freedom you will realise the real worth of freedom.I would certainly wished to live during India's freedom struggle, as there were many people who lost their lifes during that period so that their next generation would breath fresh air of freedom.Only when you go through such suffering you will know its value. No gain without pain.Sometimes i rather feel is the freedom really worth it?Where Indipendence Day and Republic Day are just another public holidays. So if there is a wish its late 1900's and another decade i would definitely loved to be was in 1776,july 4th in USA..

1950s. Just to see the great crooners perfom in their heyday. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr, etc.

Or the 70s to see Led Zeppelin in their early days and all of that power blues rock.

The 50's
There was a good economy, refrigeration, education, family values. integration was moving in some areas. Not all so I wouldn't have lived in Alabama or the like, also we were at a moderate level of peace. No muslim extremists targeting us. I know Korean war was on & China was looking to destroy us. But still not a bad time
