Y'know, I've wondered this for a while. Is it from the lyrics to that song, Girl All The Bad Guys Want? The lyric is 'she wears a two-way but I'm not quite sure what that means'.

As in a two- way radio? They are basically like walkie-talkies without the close range restriction. Nextel has offered it for years, and now I think Verizon offers it. It is typically used for business purposes but is becoming more widely used.

It is a a radio devise kinda like a walki talki like the nextel phone or the boost mobile phones.
It could also be a type of phone/pager but it has a small keyboard and you can send and receive messages or look up internet sites.
