It bugs me because the part of the country I'm from most of us aren't and the ones that are are only a little chubby.......and when I went to Europe, I saw more "fat" people over there than here (And no, they weren't American tourists).
I guess I just don't want people from other countries to think "fat" when ever they think of America.

How do you know they weren't American tourists? You went up to each and every one of them and asked??
Face it, American's like their fatty foods. To sterotype all of us though.. yea, I'm not feeling that either.

Hmmm. I have to disagree with you. I am American too, but I have been to a few countries, and I have never seen more obese people than I have in America. Perhaps it is just the part of America we are from. I am from the south. Lots O' fatties there. I'm chubby myself. But I don't think I'm fat.

Heh... I don't care if they stereotype us as fat. I'm not fat, but most everyone in my family is! As well as most of the people I see walking around downtown! Look at the statistics... I'm not a stastistic person myself, but they don't lie. Your area may not be fat, but mine certainly is. I also saw a ton of fat people in Europe, probably more fat people in one area than my town, but my town is not very big and there's not very many people. Either way, we are a growing country... and not in the good way!

Look around sometime when you are at the mall. Or especially a restaurant. Most people are fat. America is getting fat and lazy. Now is the time to do something about it.

well there are too many people here that are over weight, and you'd be suprised what is considerd over weight
