They were given death.
And the Bill of Rights isn't dead yet. The 7th Amendment is barely bruised, and the 3rd Amendment is virtually unscathed.

we have liberty???? ahhhh the innocence of youth. we have no liberties. period. you do what your told, when your told. step out of line. just once. i dare ya. see where your liberties are then. you are here because you are a taxpayer. a cog in the money machine that bankrolls the government. they tell you that you can vote because that statement pacifies you. you vote and feel like you are a part of something. when was the last time you saw the results of those votes? ever think its kinda odd that after three fourths of the nation rally against yet another tax hike......it still gets voted in by "the people"? it got "voted" in because the very people who have you convinced of your "liberties" do not concern themselves with you or i whatsoever. we are the cogs. the people of this country got lazy. to lazy to run their own lives and tired or being responsible for their actions. so they handed everything over to the government. now you have no control over your life at all. only the illusion of control that the government gives you. go ahead.....step out of line. i dare ya.

In case you don't realize, we have liberty. You know those laws, like the no-gay-marriage-in-our-state laws? We had the liberty to vote on them. And every state that voted on them passed them. So it may still be true, but there is always one problem with a democracy: Majority wins. No one is supressing us except ourselves. So educate the masses, and we can all be free. Good Luck. You're gonna need it.
