Not at all. Look at all the rioting of last year, and tell me if the 21 extremists in the UK compare to the thousands who took to Paris streets, setting the place ablaze.

If France feel the war in Iraq is unwarranted (and lets face it, most intelligent people recognise it was an unlawful invasion however abhorrent Saddam Hussein) and they don't want to take part, that's their affair. If they see that the middle eastern conflict is an absolute minefield with the divisions between who is in the right and who is in the wrong becoming ever more blurred they are not compelled to act.
I would bet good money that the majority of people critiscising their failure to act are Americans - the self-appointed 'World Police'.
Perhaps our friends across the pond should take some time to consider how things have escalated since the US and their allies have barged into Iraq, how the unfailing support of Israel further damages stability in the middle east and how sometimes - believe it or not - diplomacy is preferable.
France isn't doing a better job of keeping extremists quiet - they haven't got extremists baying for their blood because they kept their noses out in the first place.

france is already 20% muslim. What happened in Spain is what will happen in France next. You will see.Not happening yet. The islamists are stretched a little thin right now. Spain already buckled to the wishes of the islamists. Do you think all of a sudden France grew a backbone? I think not.

who gives a damn what france does but what i dont understand is why everyone is so after muslims ?!! i think france is better then all other countries because they dont go around being the police in other countries !!!! and maybe other countries should learn a few from france and butt out !!!

No it's because you are a bunch of pansies that do not want to get involved in world affairs only want to reap the benefits. Before you talk poorly about the US remember that you would be speaking German right now if it were not for the US. Also, maybe it's becasue they are in your country staging attacks to carry out on the US or England etc.
