80's all the way.

The 80s no doubt. That time period was sooo much fun! You could wear the craziest, most brightest, and out of this world clothing and people wouldn't put you down. I feel like I'm still living in the 80s because of all the crazy stuff I wear. People make rude comments, but I don't care because I like my "unique" look!

60-70's was fun and so bright !The small calico print cotton long dresses,minis in every kind of material, maxi coats & maxicoats that zippered the bottom off and then it was knee length (like todays cargo pants/shorts), geometrical shapes, leather vests, ruffled shirts, Nero jackets and shirts,platform shoes that were hard & heavy without today's cushion and comfy soles, long beaded necklaces, leather wrist bands, well it was fun. I had crazy shoes to match every outfit I had!If the principal sent us home for too short mini skirts- we would go home and put on a Granny dress(like Beverly Hillbilly's granny)and get into trouble again because they were dangerous on the stairs.Hey we got out of school and that seemed important at the time! I cut my hair to 1 in. at it's longest spot to look like Mia Farrow and that was bold when so many were wearing long straight hair that they ironed! Good question and thanks for the memory!

Wear styles that suit your body shape best. Are you a triangle, inverted triangle, rectangle or hourglass. That should be the factor you are considering when you buy clothes.
I'm an inverted triangle. I have broad shoulders and small hips. I wear bright colored pants and darker shirts. I also wear a-line skirts because they balance out my big shoulders.
