I'm about 5 weeks pregnant, when I go to the bathroom and i wipe, there is a really light pink color mucus. Is this luekoria? I thought that it was just white. I have had this a couple of times lately. and I also have extremely light cramps on my right side, nothing compared to period cramps, but I still am a first time mom, and I am really worried. Did anyone else have this? I have been thinking that maybe i am having a ectopic pregnancy. but this isn't blood coming out. just pink/whitish discharge.

Leukorrhea is normal during early pregnacy. It is caused by increased blood flow to the vagina due to increased estrogen. I think you are fine at this point. However, if you noticed increased bleeding, bright red blood, blood clots, or cramping you should seek medical attention immediately. You may want to call and talk to your OB/GYN or his/her nurse to be sure. Good Luck and remember to drink lots of water.

Sometimes around the time the period would have come you can have that type of thing. You can have that type of thing and mild cramping either when things are fine or when they're not. In other words, not necessarily reason to panic; but keep your eye on what's happening.
Forget about the ectopic pregnancy thing for now. You don't have enough "grounds" for that worry at this point. That could change, but for now - forget about it.
If you have a doctor that's who you should be talking to about this stuff. If you don't, get one so you'll have someone to call when you have questions.

You defienlty need to consult a dr. but let me tell u what happened to me:
after I found out I was prego I was like 6 weeks when --the same thing happened to me--I would have a little blood when I would wipe--I called my dr. and she told me to rest and put my feet up. Well it only lasted 1-2 days---and not every time I pee.
Now Im 11 weeks and the same thing started happening yesterday--i went to my dr. and she said in some cases its normal and in some are some early signs of miscarriage----she checked for the babys heart beat and its normal--so she said everything was ok---if I started having pain or cramping or heavy bleeding to go the the emergency room. Well today is stoped again and I feel good.
The only thing was that I was never feeeling any type of pain--good luck to you---but call ur dr. and let them know what is going on and they will advise u on what to do.
Good luck---mart

i ought to variety with rather a lot all of us in the following. Your mucus plug isn't drippy and fluid and would not spot your undies. Mucus plug is thick and ought to or received't be bloody. Your water appears leaking, particularly than breaking, which could take position at the same time as the baby's head is seated properly over your cervix in which case particularly of gushing you get a slow leak. contained when it comes to damaged bag of waters, you're in hardship-free words given 24 hours to provide the baby as an infection can set in now that the seal is broken. in hardship-free words your well being care specialist can do a litmus variety paper try of the fluid to confirm even if it is amniotic. in which case you're about to have your infant. call you record.

i would at least call yr dr. try to get an appt to get it checked out too. i had light cramping my first weeks, they said it was just my muscles getting ready for being pregnant (or something common along those lines) but with the pinkish stuff i would just get it checked by a dr. more than likely you're ok, but never can be too careful when it comes to your baby :) good luck and hope everything is good with you and your baby

It could be due to all of your muscles as my dr. called it, "settling" in and preparing for the pregnancy. I would call your dr immediately just so that you can get a professional opinion and try to stay off your feet as much as possible for a cpl days. Wish you luck!
