I also disagree with Israel's current situation...Does that mean I support Hezbollah?

I am neither Democrat or Republican, so I don't think this can be broken down to party. I am also christian, so religion or creed can't be a part of it either.

I really just want to know how many believe that the answers to my questions are black and white. I don't think so, but this is more of a survey thing.

Thanks to all who answer without flaming me or eachother!

NUKE LEFTIES

yeah the name calling could be done without. I do it, myself, but was hoping to avoid it in this post.

BLITZ

It implies I support them even after reading that I am neither liberal nor conservative. How about Independent or other third parties.

How Badnarik, who ran in 2004 on the libertarian platform?

For the record...no, won't vote for Hillary, ya'll. Not my fav person.

Greshymn -

Are you suggesting that if I discredit Bush, which I essentially said in my question I do, then I AM considered a terrorist?

Please clarify, because he clearly has done nothing to stop terrorism, as it exists by his definition (ie, war in Iraq still raging...Hezbollah...Venezuela will be a target now because they severed ties with Israel and support Hez....etc.)

Well, there are two armed conflicts going on. It sounds like you'd like there to be peace. The question you have to ask yourself is "Peace on who's term's"? Do you want a peace that gives Hezbollah what they want (destruction of Israel)?. Do you want a peace in Iraq and Afghanistan by giving Al Quida control of those two countries? If the answer to those question is yes, then you have your answer.

To answer your first question, no. Ditto for the second question. And no, your questions are not black and white. They are more GREEN than anything. Both in the sense that it is mostly DOLLARS that motivates all these governments (as well as some sense of religious opposition that is steeped in history) and in the sense that you really don't have enough information to form a knowledgable opinion about what is going on in the world. With gas prices soaring, and every related good or service that depends on fuels skyrocketing too, I'm just trying to eek out a living and stay out of the poor house. As it is I'm living in the court yard to it. Yet the media tells me I'm just doing swell.

Our media gives us such simplistic information and I don't have time to read all the blogs and political websites and newspapers, etc. to be truly informed. In fact, to get more than "U.S. good; whomever U.S. says is bad, is bad" from our media, it would take full time research. I don't fall for all the flag waving either. I don't approve of Bush. I also don't much believe in the premise that I have the right to say that either, given the latest privacy invasions he has promoted (and the fact that typing his name here or speaking it on the phone "alerts" some listening government agency!) How ironic that we are supposedly fighting for the liberties we are slowly denying ourselves. I have a nephew in Iraq, I care about our troops; but I also care about the citizens dying over there too.
As for terrorism, the media is creating a culture of fear. True, terrorism exists, and real people are doing it and real people are suffering and dying from it. However, there is not a terrorist around every corner. I refuse to live in fear.

As a fellow Christian, I see the operations going on in the middle east as God working out fulfilling the prophesy in the book of Revelations. It is out of my hands. However, I do pray for God to ease the suffering of ALL involved. He's in control. I suspect the America is the great whore described in Revelations. Time will tell. Just pray God's will be done and live the best life you can serving him.

We had no reason to attack Iraq. It is this war that has caused so many extremists to come out. We are not the police of this world. I am also embarresed by this country right now. All because I do not like the way things are and want to see somthing different does not make me less american than the next. As for the war between Hezbolah and Isreal have been going on for thousands of years and will continue regardless WHO wins what. They just have bigger weapons and a war hungry US president to stick his nose in it now.

That's what makes the country so great! You don't have to agree with bush. Your opinions are what makes this country great.

I would disagree with you and would have a good time debating world issues with you because you seem like the type of person who wont answer questions with " bush is a b-i-t-ch" I can tell your not a dumbass like answer 1.

The Bush administration always tried to paint things in terms of you are either with us or against us and tried to paint any one who is not with war on Iraq as a traitor or a coward and unpatriotic.

Thanks to the Jewish lobby, if you criticize Israel, then you are painted as anti Semite.

Please read the following article and you will see what I am talking about.

I really dont agree with bush either but I dont support terrorism either. I dont agree with what Israel is doing to Lebanon, they are not fighting
Hezbollah, but rather killing Innocent Lebanese
people with there bombs. It lately also seems like bush is supporting Israel. I think all of this is wrong!

glad to hear you do not support Bush---his policies could very well be seen as terroristic. War is wrong. It never resolves anything. We have basically invaded Iraq and attacked them--how are we any better than those people who kill and destroy for political reasons and power. Really i am embarrassed by our govt---believe me, i am in no way supporting Alkaida or Bin Laden, etc...I just think the situation now is threatening the veryexistence of our world. We have to pray for our leaders, for their heart and minds--that they may be lead by the wisdom of Christ!

not really, but you really need to pick a side, you cant be neutral very long. although, some would say if you don't support Israel, you support Hezbollah, maybe you do, I'm not the judge so its really up to you, personally i agree with Israel. but I'm not you, i cant condemn you because I'm not you,

No, it doesn't mean you support terrorism. It means you support not fighting terrorism. I myself don't want anymore 9/11 or 8/9/2006.

Edit
Please note all the answers that do nothing but call my president names. Is that what you mean by "flaming"!
