I don't believe in Western astrology. If you're born a day or two before or after one sign, the projection could apply to you as well as your own sign. Each astrologer seems to have their own network of stars that give conflicting advice.

Chinese astrology, however is fascinating. I've read my characteristics and they are so accurate it's eerie. The same goes for friends and families--the descriptions of that particular year could have been written about any one of them--or me. It's much more complex since it takes into account whether you're air, water, fire. It describes you from childhood on up.

Normally I don't believe in this kind of hocus-pocus nonsense, but I have to admit, I've been intriuged by the year to year projections made. Even going from one book to another by different authors, the information is consistent.

Isaac Asimov, noted science fiction author, whose I.Q. was so high that it could not be measured, wrote a series of essays called "The Stars in Their Courses". In one essay, he addressed Astrology. It seems that the Zodiac is based on stars that have shifted positions since its inception. Now, of course, everyone has a different Zodiac sign, but they have yet to be assigned to compensate for the reality of Astronomy.

So, all this time, you thought you were an Aries, and it turns out you're a Pisces instead. Fortunately, this little-known factoid hasn't slowed the industry down one iota.

No, horoscopes tend to be written in such a way as to allow you to apply it to a wide variety of situations. Thus making them sound like they are telling you about things that are happening in your life, but really you are just fitting what it is telling you to what your life is like.

In the end they are too general and vague to be of much use.

Now i do find horoscopes to be overall insightful about certain general aspects of the human condition, and tend to be a good daily reminder to be a nicer and more loving person.

What is real and I found about them few days ago is how zodiac signs are divided and assigned to each person. Search the web and see that every person falls under a zodiac sign let's say pisces for an example. people here are highly imaginative and creative and you'll find that people that fall under this category are really that way.

But nope....no one can predict the future only have clues ;-)

Mine is freakishly accurate. And it's the specifics that scare me most, not the generalizations that most anyone can relate too. There is most definitely a mystical undertow to life.

No, they are all fake and made up. The reason they seem to work is that you will trigger on most anything in there that seems relavant and ignore those that don't.
