Take as much math as possible. You might be able to test out of some freshman level classes when you get to college. Also, if you have had Trig, Calculus, Differential Equations in High School, you will do much better with the material in College. Best wishes.

Hey you,
I skipped out on Math taking only alg 1 and geometry - and I really wish I hadn't. After High School I moved states and it took me about 3 years to get back into school - but now I'm finishing up my second year of a bachelors...
Before I was able to join I had to go to a local community college to learn alg 2 and trig, and right off the bat in college they gave me calculus 1 and now I'm doing calc 2.... for my degree in engineering, I still have ANOTHER 2 maths to go through.
If I would've been smart and gotten math out of the way in HS, I could've done less math in college, meaning I could've had more time to take more interesting courses that I liked and enjoyed it a bit more.
Also, unlike HS, they're charging me 408 dollars per credit hour - and at 4 credit hours per class.... =(
I wish so badly I would've taken calculus in HS instead of skipping on it to do the work study program so I could get out of school early every day.

If it is possible, I would recommend taking Calculus your senior year. That is generally the highest level math you are allowed to take as a high school senior.

take math all 4 years. Take at least up to pre-calculus, and preferably calculus. If you don't want to take calc your last year, see if your school offers something like statistics that isn't part of the required curriculum.

if u are gonna take algebra II and trig in 9th grade, take calc AB in 10th grade, then calc BC in 11th grade.
it would look pretty good in the app.

You should take math every semester. The more you know the better you will do later in the university.
