Well, i think that these countries should make the same "fuss", after all, the "developed world" has been working everyday for centurues to be "developed", and after all, it is their money.

Because in many cases the people in these Third world countries have through tolerating corrupt and dictatorial leaders who siphon off all the money in a country have let things get that way. This is very politically incorrect but surprisingly true, many countries were better off as colonies of their former European powers. Remember all those starving Ethiopians,Live Aid and all that grain going to feed them? The government at the time took the grain and sold it to the highest bidder. This was all for a famine that they had basically created themselves!! Compare the Sudan now to when it was a British Protectorate! People weren't all dying, slavery had been stamped out and there was this thing called rule of law!
Another thing. Why should I give a damn about these people when they probably wouldn't give a damn about me? AIDS? Keep it in your pants or put a "boot" on it!! Because other people choose to surrender their responsibilities is no reason for me to take it up for them. When I am foolish I pay the piper. Let them do the same!!

I agree with you because,I came from the third world country in my opinion.I see people die every day from war so My mentality about war is different from my American people and friends. But,you have to remember that America is a melting pot of different cultures,For an example the languages that spoken in my town are about 200 languages and only 5 big languages that use by the city Hall and the school district.so you can not assume everyone in America is all sensitive.Right now the American are unhappy about their leaders and the way her country is moving.Everyone was thinking about the War that the country went in and they are real sick about the cost as well as the taxes that they have to pay including myself.Meanwhile they are chocking and shocking about paying taxes for the faulty rich in America,98% of the massess pay for 2% of the Filty rich in America. The 911 incident impact extreme deep in the American thought and pray. Now there are two groups of people who have different idea about the war.Democrate wants her troops home but the White House and republican want the troops to stay there. It is very awkward situation that I never experience before in my life. The people in America have more problems than the developing countries and they can not face more than they have it now such as unemployment, job outsourcing, illegal alien,H1B visa (200,000 visa gave them to others and American lost their Hi tec jobs ) oil hike and etc.America is a rich country and she has more resources than others but the natural disaster are triple especially in the mid land and almost every state in the country. There are so many things the American has to face and people outside only view her as show case like the way Hollywood was protraying.Believe me it is not a reality at all.Several people do not have Healthcare.(45 million ) The government does not do anything and it is not unusual here.Well now I do agree with you that security measure costs this country arm and leg and it does not help any one.By the way,I heard some money that sent to Iraq was lost into the thieves'hands and only a small group of wealty people benefits from this 2 wars that the American went in. In addition I read and find info from several sources from outside U.S. and not many info that I can find from the American News.

Yes I agree with you, but for my own sanity I have to remember I can't do everything by myself. The problem is unmanageable population growth. The global population increased from 1 billion in 1950 to over 6 billion in 2000. A 600% increase in 50 years despite disease and war and disasters. We have been on a technology gravy train that has enabled this growth, and now the fuel for this train is running out.
But don't think all US citizens are sitting with folded hands at the plight of the less fortunate. There are stil a lot of good, charitable people in this country that give and give. Adjust your focus, it's less frustrating.

Last I checked people die everyday from everywhere, not just in developing countries. Now as far as us developed countries just sitting and watching with folded arms, that's just a bunch of crap because there is a thing that the U.S government has called foreign aide and the last time I checked we were sending billions of dollars over to these third world countries. Christ! Africa alone got 15 billion dollars from the U.S. government and the bastards still haven't learned how to use a condom to keep aids from spreading. That's the problem with Americans today we always got to stick our noses in everyone elses business, that's how we ended up in Iraq. "ahhh...I'm an American and I need to help poor people in other countries rather than helping poor people in America" Yeah that's smart....sure....have any of you even looked at the U.S deficit...in case you haven't let me update you...OUR NATION IS BROKE...we have a 450billion dollar deficit that means negative 450 billion dollars and your b*tching that we need to send money to other countries...I do agree that our nations spending habits are a little ridiculous but a good portion of that money goes to foriegn aide, Africa, Irag, now Lebanon please I say let their governments deal with it and if they don't have governments obviously they don't want any. Most of these third world countries are third world because they believe in tribal governments and communities so let's leave them alone because obviously they are happy with their situation or they would change it.

Because they have to manipulate the People,
what if eveybody whould understand how far we steal them, all at one time ? It would be chaos. And if the world knew how deeply comtroled we are....there would be a revolution before morning...
Imagine if Africa and the world knew Polion vaccines were made of monkey tissues, and that it gave Aids to millions of peoples, ooo, what a chaos it would be ........
They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :
And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century
“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials
"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the United Nations Business Council in September 1994
"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)
Patriot Act : http://www.epic.org/privacy/terrorism/usapatriot/default.html
The Bush's helped finance the Waffen SS and SA.
The Bush family has had dealings with Saddam Hussein involving oil drilling and real estate.
The Bush family has connections to the Bin Laden family. This includes a close partnership in the Carlyle group and Arbusto oil. The Bin Ladens and the Bush's have had a long close relationship.
However I don't know if they actually had money taken away being the Bush family has been known to bribe politicians.
t's funny how the Bush family has business dealings with people and governments who kill Americans. The people who are the biggest threat to our national security are friends and partners with the Bush's.
Makes you wonder who's side the Bush's are on.http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww...

Everyone grieves when a loved one dies, it doesn't matter how they died, or how many have died. Of course America is going to report on its own citizens dying. And it's just not true that no one cares about people dying of sickness and disease and war in other parts of the world. Look at all the humanitarian orginizations trying to help out and the funding that is forwarded. Read the paper, there are continuous reports of what is going on in these places. I have to ask - have you done anything to help, i.e. - donate money, volunteer, educate others?

You're right we should regress to a third world mind-set. As for the developed world watching with"folded hands"; When are these people going to be able to take care of themselves, for Christ's sake? I know, we are sooo evil. We have worked hard to educate our poulace and build the greatest nation on earth. Shame on us! I agree about ridiculous safety measures. Maybe you should stop wearing YOUR seatbelt. If the stupid die young, maybe we'll begin to evolve again.

You mean the United States not America.
There is no such a thing as ‘American’ nationality, America is not a nation America is a continent with many nations in it. The US never named itself the name of the United States is a designation it comes from the end of the Declaration of Independence, "WE, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in GENERAL CONGRESS, Assembled...". The preamble to the U.S. Constitution reiterated the phrase: "We the People of the United States..." (The authors of these two documents probably used the phrase "united states" in place of a list of colonies/states because they remained uncertain at the time of drafting which colonies/states would sign off on the sentiments therein.) The geographic term "America" specifies the states' home on the American continent.
It is therefor incorrect to refer to US citizens as Americans with the intent of denoting citizenship, or the United States as America with the intent of denoting a nation. Americans have a term for US citizens, we are called United Statesians by the rest of Americans, to say American with the intent of denoting citizenship or America when we mean the United States reflects poorly on our attitude towards the 70% of Americans that are not United Statesians.
