No they wouldnt. First of all getting them that early would be basically a waste of a pick when u can get many good kickers in the last round(im serious). U say Vinateri but fantasy wise Vinateri has never been the best kicker in the nfl neither is there a constant #1. 2 yrs ago Neil Rackers went undrafted in my league thas how unpredictable they can be. 3rd even if u do have the best kicker in da league theres not that much a difference between him and the next 1. And lastly when u look at it kickers stats are really random. Great offenses can ive ur kicker more opportunities thus more points but when it all comes down most kickers do well anyway, just save him for ur last pick and take a lets say Jay Feely or Jeff Wilkins.

No. First fill out your starting lineup, then hit RB and WR depth...there are so many kickers and some of them will surprise. Some will have a career year in distance and accuracy, others will simply luck into a good situation where the teams offense struggles in the red zone, forcing them to kick a lot of field goals. Those guys can be picked up after week 2 or week 3 (like I did Rackers last year and he was money).

it depends if someone has already pick up a kicker than no but if you still have a choice in the 6th round then pick up which ever supreme kick you want or have been advised to pick. i would sugest any of these four Adam Vinatieri, Neil Rackers, Jason Elam, Jay Feely in that order.

no because unlike with other players talent isnt the biggest factor it all depends on the team so thats why i dont draft kickers early because if the cards dont generate a lot of oppurniteies for rackers to kick his talent is worthless as with vinatieri and the colts

kickers should be drafted in last 3 rounds. Let someone else pick Vinateri or Rackers, and you pick depth elsewhere. There is always someone on waivers during the season that gets hot that you'll be able to pick up.

It isnt a bad idea. Take a look at how they scored last year. I would throw Shane Graham in the mix. I would go second round at the earliest. It always seems to happen that some of the "top players" (a la Culpepper, McNabb last season) go down. I have always had the best luck by finding those players who "break out" like Larry Johnson did last season. Maybe that is why I have won the championship in the years I participated. I dunno.

I don't think so. kickers can be important, but last year I got Vanderjack in the ninth round. In my opinion a good def. should go in the seventh or eighth round.

no way, the last two rounds of the draft is when I look for the kicker. Unless it's viniteri, I wouldn't waste your higer picks.
