I say hmmm in different ways. finger on chin hmmm?- good questions; Wrinkled nose "what the heck" hmmm? - stupid questions; Shorter, "i didn't know that" hmmm?- interesting, little known facts; laughing, sounds more like "huh" hmmm?- funny stories, stupid people; and last, head turned down, nodding no, thinking hmmm?- sad stories, people who need serious help or advice.

I say Hmmmm when I see questions on here that REALLY NEED an answer of some kind but .... hmmmm, how do you answer some of them w/o telling the one asking the question that they really needed to put more thought into their question and remain somewhat civil (not rude or vulgar) with my answer??
