Not a chance, he would have to more than double his point total, plus he's getting older. I think Crosby will make a strong run, Thornton with a full year in San Jose will definately be in the running, among many others that would be better candidates than Bertuzzi. If he was going to like an Atlanta or a team with more snipers to rack up the assists he still wouldn't put up top 5 scoring numbers.

Bertuzzi is not that good of a talent. He should be home growing potatoes until Steve Moore can play again. If Steve can never play again, neither should Thug Bertuzzi. As a player, I have no respect for Thug Bertuzzi and will never be an MVP or an All Star again.

Bertuzzi has about the same chance of winning the Lady Byng Award as he has of being MVP. He's a man without conviction, though he should have at least one for the mega-goon like move he did 2 1/2 years ago.

Bertuzzi doesn't even deserve too play the sport, let alone be praised for anything he does. He's a monster, he ruined a man's career and his life. He should have been completely removed from the NHL long ago. But, no, he got a mere spank on the butt for being malicious, he's like a terrorist! Hockey is by far the best sport and it should be treated with the respect that it deserves. He's a coldcocker.

i don't think so. he will not get any votes for mvp becuz of how dirty of a player he is. it is a shame players like him get away with seriously injurying players. anyhow, he is not very popular due to his style of play. a new start does not always equal better success for a player. he'd have to change his style of play and stay out of the penalty box which i highly doubt he will. since he is playing for a subpar team like florida he might do good but not good enough to be a mvp.

I don't even think he should be playing hockey after what he did...I'm sorry to all Bertuzzi fans but I really don't like what he did because when he did it Colorado was my fave team and I've never been able to forget it and I don't think I ever will.

He'll have a better year for sure since he's been traded. Less distraction but I don't think he'll surpass his career 90+ points before the Steve Moore incident. Those suspensions made him a lesser player.
