I believe so. There have been several occasions with my partner that we feel we have known eachother before. That we have been together in a former life....and will look for eachother in the next. We just hope it happens quicker next time. It's an amazing feeling...so I guess that's eternal love.

yes.It is eternal. Some one or other will always love you as the same you will love some one till the day you leave this world. Life is Full of Love. The love between your parents brought you to this world, becoz of the love of god we got a beautiful world, becoz of the mother nature we lead a peaceful life.Love is timeless. The only request from Love to the mankind is have open mind to give and receive It.so my opinion is Love is Everywhere and Eternal.

of course! And probably even ANY kind of love is eternal love.
For example, I'd love my family and my sister and my future wife till I die and after death. So yes. Love can be very much eternal.

what kind of love? if you mean romantic, fraternal, humanitarian... they may last a lifetime, it depends-- on the person and his choices. Romantic love maybe honest and we may need someone, we may love someone with high loyalty and selfless attitude, true love, but romantic love is not trascendental (humanitarian and fraternal may be trascendental, however)...
May be not the answer that you wished for, but it's as honest and objective as I can get for these types of questions. Why romantic love is not trascendental? (trascendental= going beyond mere emotional factors, more than a particular place, time and individual)... Romance is not trascendental because, simply put, You won't have romantic love for someone you think is nice but feel no attraction to get more intimate with that person...
Also, in our culture, that type of "love" (romantic love), is inherently selfish-- If you share your romantic partner, well, your partner may regard you as "unloyal" and "false". So, there's no sharing, even if an old friend re-found you, you feel romance, but, hey, you're "taken". This romantic love is often unfair in real life scenarios.
