this isnt something thats easily done from above the engine compartment, you have to get under the vehicle for the ac belt, assuming its a 4cyl. its not much to have a mechaninc do it, maybe an hours worth of labor

Why bother.
Loosen the squiggler fastener then remove the tensioner wahoosie when all the fridderits are loosened then replace the belts and re tighten. Or have an auto tech do it.

get a shop manual from an auto parts store for the year and make of the vehicle and it will cover that along with a bunch of other things youcan do.
