I like Australians! Typically, if we were being stereotypical, Americans don't like the French. Well hell, I guess we don't like Arabs either. But then we have to count the Mexicans. Really, Americans don't like anyone who doesn't speak English. Australians, since they speak a form of English, are accepted. And we gave the Australian props for his Brokeback Mountain donkey hump. Heath Ledger is loved by Americans. (I love him for his role in A Knight's Tale, but I digress.)
Without being a complete smart ***...America doesn't know much about Australia except snakes, gators, Crocodile Dundee, along with the Crocodile Hunter. You got a lot on your side. Oh oh! And beer!

Sure. Every single American knows and likes every single Australian.
Because to an American, all Australians appear as highly cultured, clever, and attractive people.

I can't think of a single reason why we shouldn't. I'm American and dislike many more American's than Australians. But then again, I know more American's:) Basically, I like anyone who treats me nice and is friendly.

i can only speak for myself. my answer is yes i really do like the Aussies.I have been chatting with an Aussie Woman. other than trying to explain our numerical system and hers we get along perfect. i would love to visit austrailia one day.
