omg I think i am?

Question

i just took a test and its really really faint
the line is light blue u can hardly see it but its there
it only showed up on 10 min but getting alittle darker. am i pregnant?
or is it a Evap Line or maybe i just test to early?
I am so excited but i dont want to get my hopes up
I am suppose to get my period next week wednesday

i skipped the pill for a week i think that is when i might have become preg!

my boobs hurt for 2 weeks but only the nipples and yes my fiance knows i am off the pill

I hope your partner knows that you stopped the pill. He might not be ready to be a daddy. And he should have the choice to participate in the decision. Because, it certainly sounds like you might be pregnant. Wait until you miss your period and retake the test.

OK first off slow down. You don't want to get too excited because even though you might not feel it but your body will become stressed. Stress can make your period late and that might give you even more false hope if you are truly not pregnant. It is too early to take a home pregnancy test. The cannot detect hCG until 5 or less days before your next period. Try not to think about it and then take a test again on Sunday. Also remember that false negatives are very common but false positives are rare. GOOD LUCK.

What kind of pregnancy test did you take? because most tests say that you have to read the results in as little as 2 or 3 minutes, depending on the test - waiting too long might give you a false result because there is such a thing as the evaporation line. I would say take another test by next Wednesday if your period doesn't show up. And make sure you follow the test instructions carefully to get the most accurate results. Also, testing early can give you a false negative result, so it's best to wait until you are missing your period before testing. Goodluck to you!! I

It is very possible that you are pregnant even if you haven't missed your period yet. Wait a few more days and retest using your first morning's urine. that is when your HCG levels are the highest.

With two of my pregnancies, I tested early and got a faint blue line and I was indeed pregnant. If you just can't wait a few more days, have your doctor to do a blood test then you will know for sure! Good Luck!

oh wow...you could def be pregnant! Congrats! Same thing happened to me. Stopped taking the pill and got pregnant right away. I took a test a week early too and got a faint line. Any line means your pregnant! I'm 7 weeks today!
Do you have any symptoms? My boobs were tender and i was getting light cramps. Good Luck though! I'm sure you are going to have a baby! = )

sounds like you are. my cousin swore she was pregnant but her pee test stick only had a very very faint line. i kept telling her no it has to be dark to be possative. i made her take 2 more and they were the same, very very light. you could barely see the line. well, a week later she still hadn't started her period and i got her another test and it was deffinetly possative.
with me, i thought i was pregnant, had sensative nipples and stuff. i took a test and it was only one line. i was dissapointed. but when my period still didnt come a week later, i took another on. and it was deffinetly possative. im now 40 wks 2 day pregnant.
if you can see any sort of a line where the possative line is, you stand a good chance of being pregnant. you can read in the little leaflet that comes with the test. most of the ones i used said any shade of line, dark or light, is a possative.

Umm, I dont think you are supposed to read a pregnancy test after 10 minutes. Usually if you are pregnant it will show up immediately. And it is probably too early to test. You said you arent due for a period until next week so I would wait until after you miss your period.

When a woman is due for her period and she takes the test, the results are not always right ...It has happen to me..I got all excited for nothing =(

Wait until your period comes.
You're supposed to take pregnancy tests after a missed period or up to 5 days before a missed period. Anything more than 5 days, isn't accurate at all.
So relax and wait.

You might and might not. Wait til your period is due and take another one. If you are still unsure go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. That will give you a def answer.
