Her character was said to be from Brooklyn. I think it was because Woody Allen has one, and it would upstage his comedy, and detract from Scarlett's beauty. What do you think?

I thought Scoop was a good movie.----Anyway, I've seen plenty of New Yorkers who grew up in Brooklyn and dont have the "accent"

OR It could just be one of the many Film "goofs" that exist out there.

I dont think "Scarlett's beauty" was the focus of the film. Her acting along with Woody's made the film very comedic and very enjoyable.

Woody Allen doesn't have a Brooklyn accent as much as he has a Jewish accent.

Zatch: "Is there no way to shut this chattering monkey up?"

Lt. Spence: "You know, I'd cut him. But, I don't have a knife."

Why didn't Kevin Costner have an accent in Robin Hood. I think its stupid and I hate when they do that. If they can't do the accent get another actor.
