You could try the Time Bank sites or Volunteering England - if you google them you should be able to find their websites! How lovely that you want to volunteer : good luck! Also maybe ask the parents of your friends from school if you can help at the organisations they run???

You don't say where you live.
If you live in a tent in the middle of the Sahara Desert - there's a whole lot of camels that would love to curl up on your bed at night.
If you live in South America in the Rain Forest, you might be able to do some work for the Ape Haircutting Service.
If you live at the North Pole, there must be quite a few charities making bonfires for polar bears because one or two of them must feel the cold a bit.
Anywhere else, well, theres always the Pussycat Cuddling Society!
Okay?

You can go through your local church and ask the pastoral staff. All churches help out in all aspects of society.
You can also ask the church if they have a youth group. Many youth groups do community service.

I suggest contacting The United Way in your community and personally go to their offices to discuss your interest(s) and if their data base and placement services can help you. Best of luck.
